Looking to treat yourself—or someone special—during your trip to Iceland?

For an unforgettable and indulgent experience, book the Luxury Entrance to the Retreat Spa at the Blue Lagoon. This exclusive ticket grants you access to one of Iceland’s most serene and sophisticated spa environments: the Retreat Spa, where peace, privacy, and natural beauty come together in perfect harmony.

The Retreat Spa is a separate, more intimate space from the main Blue Lagoon, yet your reservation includes access to both areas, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds. The Blue Lagoon is not only a world-renowned destination, but also a place of healing—its geothermal waters have been scientifically proven to benefit various skin conditions, making your visit both relaxing and restorative.
As this is a highly sought-after experience, availability is limited to just 20 guests every two hours. We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and ensure a seamless, tranquil visit.

BLUE LAGOON - RETREAT SPA

In 2018 Blue Lagoon completed a major expansion by opening the Retreat Spa for its more selective and exclusive clients. This space includes an underground spa, a geothermal lagoon, a restaurant offering traditional culinary delights from Iceland served to you in their unique style and a hotel of 62 suites surrounded by the mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon. Pamper yourself and discover the Blue Lagoon Retreat Spa, where you will feel in a new world of relaxation. And for true privacy, the spa requests that all guests safely store their phones and electronic devices away during their visit and simply enjoy their time with no distractions or disturbances,

Blue Lagoon is the most visited attraction in Iceland and one of the most fascinating places on Iceland. This impressive geothermal spa is located in the lava rock dotted volcanic fields of the Reykjanes peninsula. Its location is ideal as it is located between the international airport of Keflavík and the capital Reykjavík. From the airport you can arrive by bus, by taxi or by car. The transfer between the airport and Blue Lagoon lasts about 20 minutes (via Highway 41 before turning south on Highway 43). From the capital, Reykjavík, to the Blue Lagoon, the distance is 45 km, lasting 40-45 minutes. There is also the possibility of booking excursions or transfers to the Blue Lagoon with the departure from Reykjavík.

Built on an 800-year-old lava flow, the nature, design and radiant powers of geothermal seawater flow harmoniously into the Retreat Spa. Designed to transport you new dimensions of relaxation and peace, the spa offers various spaces both outside and underground to give your mind and body a fully transformational experience. SOUTH COAST CLASSIC ITINERARY

The South Coast Classic starts in Reykjavík with your pick-up in the capital. First, we will pass through lava fields and see the typical agricultural landscapes of the South Coast, famous for the typical Icelandic horses. If the weather is clear, we can see the huge Hekla volcano and, in the distance, the incredible Eyjafjallajökull glacier. In addition, if we look at the coast, we will find the volcanic archipelago of the Westman Islands, formed by some 15 small islands of which only one is inhabited. Our first stop will take place in Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach where incredible basalt columns stand out that will leave you amazed. From there we will head to Vík, the southernmost town of Iceland. Although it only has about 300 inhabitants, we can say that it is the nerve center of the area since you will not find any other inhabited place in a 70 kilometer radius. Once back in Reykjavík, we will stop before the powerful waterfall of Skógafoss, which measures 62 meters, and climb to the top of the cliff to enjoy not only its water curtain but one of the most beautiful views of the whole island, which includes glaciers, volcanoes and black sand beaches. Finally, we will stop at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where we can walk right behind its impressive 60 meter water curtain.
