NORTHERN LIGHTS EXCURSION IN ICELAND ITINERARY
The excursion for the sighting of Northern Lights in Iceland starts from Reykjavík. Once we pick you up at the place of your choice (hotel in Reykjavík / corresponding tourist bus stop or Skógarhlíð bus terminal) and enter our bus, you can enjoy not only the splendid audio guide available in 10 languages, but also a tablet, WIFI and USB charger. The tablet has a guide of useful tips for photographing the Northern Lights.
If you are are worried that you may not see the Northern Lights during your tour, rest assure that if you are not lucky enough to see the spectacular sight the first time, you always have the opportunity to sign up, for free, for another available day. In addition, we have local experts who are able to accurately calculate the possibilities of seeing the beautiful auroras, which assists us in having a high success rate. If the prediction is not in our favor, the excursion will not happen that night.
In addition to the audio guide in your own language, you can count on the help of our English-speaking guides who will answer all your doubts about the Northern Lights. They will offer you the best tips and assistance in use of photographing the night sky as well as how to use the camera's tripods.
Remember that it is important to come well dressed to enjoy this great visual spectacle without problems. If you forget, you can always rent our jackets or our special boots so you can enjoy the light show without feeling the cold.

Pick-ups in Reykjavík available from your assigned accommodation / tourist stop (30 minutes before the booked departure) or from the Skógarhlíð bus terminal (15 minutes before the booked departure). Information about the Northern Lights
What do I need to bring? No matter what time of year you decide to travel to Iceland, it is always important to bring a good waterproof jacket, trekking clothes (waterproof pants like Gore-tex), good trekking shoes, gloves, light hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and water bottle.
Important note: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can not be guaranteed. The excursion leaves only if the weather conditions are favorable. The guides always evaluate the weather situation and, depending on the conditions, the trip is confirmed. Even if the excursion leaves, there is not a 100% guarantee that you will see the Aurora Borealis. In case it is not possible, the provider offers the possibility of taking the same excursion on a different date, free of charge and according to availability. The itinerary of the excursion may vary each day according to the probability of seeing the Northern Lights. If the excursion leaves and the auroras are not seen during the excursion, the provider does not return the money paid since the excursion has been made.
