Transportation by airport shuttle bus "Flybus"between your hotel in Reykjavík or the Reykjavík Central Bus Station (BSÍ) and Iceland International Airport (KEF) is the cheapest option to reach the airport from the capital of Iceland. The shuttle buses offer comfortable and convenient travel at the best price. The buses have free WiFi available on board and departures every half hour (please see the schedules below).
Travelers have two options for pick up by the airport shuttle bus. You can choose to get picked up at one of the 14 tourist bus stops within the center of Reykjavík or from the main bus terminal (BSÍ). When reserving your ticket below, search for you accommodation and it will indicate which bus stop to use for pickup or if no bus stop is listed, the bus will stop at your hotel.
Either way it is essential to understand that due to the system of tourist transportation within Reykjavík, all guests must arrive 30 minutes before the time of pickup to ensure they do not miss their bus. If waiting at a hotel, please be outside waiting. The second option is to go directly to BSÍ, the city bus station where the airport bus pickup is located just outside the BSÍ terminal building.
The trip takes about 45 minutes and must be booked in advance.

TOURIST BUS STOPS AND CENTRAL BUS STATION AT REYKJAVÍK, BSÍ
There are 14 tourist bus stops plus the central bus station, all located within the central zone of Reykjavík. From one of these locations you will be able to depart from Reykjavík to Keflavík International Airport. BSÍ is the central bus station of Reykjavík. It is the departure point of the buses that go to Keflavík International Airport, as well as to other places in Iceland, including many of the excursions that are offered on the page. It is the main bus terminal in Iceland which is located in the very center of Reykjavik and is open 24 hours a day. It has free WiFi and a restaurant open between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

SOUTH COAST CLASSIC ITINERARY
The South Coast Classic starts in Reykjavík with your pick-up in the capital. First, we will pass through lava fields and see the typical agricultural landscapes of the South Coast, famous for the typical Icelandic horses. If the weather is clear, we can see the huge Hekla volcano and, in the distance, the incredible Eyjafjallajökull glacier. In addition, if we look at the coast, we will find the volcanic archipelago of the Westman Islands, formed by some 15 small islands of which only one is inhabited. Our first stop will take place in Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach where incredible basalt columns stand out that will leave you amazed. From there we will head to Vík, the southernmost town of Iceland. Although it only has about 300 inhabitants, we can say that it is the nerve center of the area since you will not find any other inhabited place in a 70 kilometer radius. Once back in Reykjavík, we will stop before the powerful waterfall of Skógafoss, which measures 62 meters, and climb to the top of the cliff to enjoy not only its water curtain but one of the most beautiful views of the whole island, which includes glaciers, volcanoes and black sand beaches. Finally, we will stop at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where we can walk right behind its impressive 60 meter water curtain.

Golden Circle & Friðheimar itinerary
The tour begins in Reykjavík with the pick up of your hotel or the assigned bus stop (near your accommodation). The first stop will be Geysir geothermal area, which includes several points of interest: the great Geysir, the active Strokkur, the colorful laguitos and an information center where you will have the opportunity to buy some souvenirs. During the tour you will visit the impressive Gullfoss waterfall, known as the "Golden Waterfall". This immense waterfall falls on the great canyon of the Hvítá River in two jumps. We will also stop at the Thingvellir National Park, where the first Icelandic parliament Althing (also the oldest in the world) was founded in the year 930. In Thingvellir, you will also see the division between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. In addition, the tour includes a visit to the idyllic greenhouse and Friðheimar cultivation center, where you can learn how cucumbers and tomatoes are grown free of pesticides with the help of the heat that emanates from the interior of the earth. Our first stop will be at Seljalandfoss, the famous waterfall that allows travelers to walk behind the column of water that plummets down from the cliffs above, and its impressive and surprising neighbor, Gljúfrabúi, or the ¨hidden waterfall¨, that many travelers do not visit because it does not appear in all guidebooks.

South Coast and Waterfalls
AMPHIBIAN BOAT TOUR ON JÖKULSÁRLÓN GLACIER LAGOON

The impressive lagoon of the Jökulsárlón Glacier can best be experienced with one of our majestic amphibian boat tours which will navigate you through a sea of floating icebergs. During the excursion, you will be able to enjoy the incredible views of the lagoon from many different points and angles. You will be able to see the icebergs up close and even taste water that is more than 1000 years old.
