HOW TO RESERVE A TAXI TO THE BLUE LAGOON

Taxi from KEF to Blue Lagoon: Book a taxi from Keflavik International Airport to the Blue Lagoon. Perfect if you’re arriving on a flight or returning a rental car. Reserve about 30 minutes before your entry time. Reserve for 30 minutes before your Blue Lagoon entrance time.
Taxi from Reykjavík to Blue Lagoon: Less than 50 km from Reykjavik, taxis can pick you up at your accommodation and drop you at the Blue Lagoon entrance. Reserve 45–60 minutes before your entry.
More than 4 people? Choose "supplement for a bigger taxi (5–8 pax)"
Start and end in different locations? Yes! Just book two one-way transfers (e.g. Reykjavík–Blue Lagoon–KEF).

The taxi service employees certified drivers and offers cars which are well maintained and comfortable. The pick-up times on either end are flexible and allow for complete autonomy by the guests, as opposed to having to go by the bus schedule. In addition, taxis are not obligated, as buses and minibuses are, to use the tourist bus stops in Reykjavík, instead allowing for direct pick-ups from your accommodation and you will be dropped off directly in front of the entrance to the Blue Lagoon.

Bookings for taxi can be made as a one-way trip or roundtrip. If you need to start and end at different locations, you can do so, you only need to book 2 one-way journeys by taxi. Arriving to KEF and ending the day in Reykjavík? No problem, book a one-way transfer to the Blue Lagoon from KEF and then another from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík. Or is it your last day and you need to start from your hotel and end the day at the airport for you flight? Easy: just book a taxi from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon and then another one-way from the Blue Lagoon to Keflavík International Airport. 

How to reserve a taxi to and from the Blue Lagoon:

1. Choose the journey/rate (Keflavík airport to Blue Lagoon, downtown Reykjavík to Blue Lagoon or Blue Lagoon to KEF or Reykjavík ).

2. Choose the date and the number of cars needed (each taxi holds up to 4 passengers).

3. Choose the pick-up location (you can choose "I will write down the address" and enter that information on the following page)

4. Click "Book" and follow the instructions on the following page.

--Here you will be able to write in your hotel's address for pick up. 
--You can also choose the pick-up time here. 

5. If you need another leg of the journey (i.e. return trip), you can follow the same process again. 

Please note that you should coordinate the taxi reservation with the time you have reserved to enter the Blue Lagoon. If you are coming from the airport, make sure to reserve the taxi for at least 30 minutes before the entrance time. If you are coming from Reykjavík, be sure to make the taxi reservation for 45-60 minutes before the entrance time.
